Address lists -  I need to hide address lists so that Students cannot see staff account?
I have Exchange Server 2007 Ent SP2 + Rollup 1We have one storage group with two databases, one for staff and one for students.I need to ensure that students are unable to see the staff accounts. Is the best way to do this via custom address lists and if so how is this done or is there a better method of ensuring that staff see all users and students only see other students?many thanks in advanceChris

One thing i can think of is creating a new Global Address list with the Recipient filter filtering the users in Students database, create a Offline address book with that new GAL and Add that on the Student's Database. Set permissions to deny Students to open Default Global Address list. (given in below link) You have to use Exchange Management Shell to create GAL. Below link will give you a very good understanding on Creating Additional GAL and much more. http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/address-lists-exchange-2007-part1.html Thanks.
